PENROSE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION MEETING
SATURDAY JANUARY 2004

All- Please find below notes from our JAN meeting - we hope to see you at the FEB meeting which will be held on 7 FEB 2004 @ 9AM. We will be looking for volunteers to be alternates to the NCAC meetings.

JAN 2004 Penrose Neighborhood Assoc Meeting

- Being an election year several candidates have contacted our group and they are interested in attending a meeting - the idea was tossed around to have a speical meet the candidates meeting

- The Public Affairs Officer from Ft Myer is willing to come and speak to our association at an upcoming meeting if there is interest

- We will be sending a request to join the Arlington Civic Federation - the request will be drafted up for approval at the FEB meeting

- The tentative date for our PotLuck Lunch is April 3rd from 11AM to 1PM. This will take the place of our regular meeting in April.

- The next Newsletter will be coming out in mid March. If you are interested in submitting an article or have an idea for one please submit it to penrosepres@yahoo.com

- We are loking into the request by a resident to have an advance left turn green turn light from Columbia Pike to Walter Reed

- New 4 way stop signs are expected at 6th and Wayne Streets.
