Casual dining and a happy mix of Mexican and El Salvadoran cuisines. Family owned since 1986 and one of three in the area. The extensive menu is priced right for a budget conscious 2010 diner...and the plates are generous. A tangy, fresh and succulent ceviche of snapper, calamari and shrimp will easily feed two. Outstanding chicken taquitos, crispy and light, and the pork pupusas taste of real roast pulled pork. This restaurant knows the importance of fresh ingredients cooked carefully for authentic flavor. Mercifully none of the dishes are smothered in a blanket of cheeses.

The menu offers a selection of substantial breakfast plates of steak, sausage, eggs, beans and rice guaranteed to get you through the day, especially if the previous night has been festive and long! Light eaters have the option of a vegetarian omelet with fruit.

Good selection of Mexican and Salvadoran beers at the cozy and low-key bar which adds to the casual cantina ambience. There is a small but careful wine list with just enough variety and providing a good match for the menu, which carries a variety of steak and seafood dishes. A great place for families and even the large TV is unobtrusive. Service is attentive and friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The manager offered an upgrade from the usual wine by the glass to replace one that was not available. Happy Hour offers half-price beers and margaritas.
